First Sketches

This is the first sketch I did for the word 'Run' It shows the basic impact then take off.

For this sketch I focused on one stride. The thick black lines are where the foot first hits the ground. The curve down then up shows the transfer of weight from the heel up through to the toes. The end breaks into smaller lines where the foot leaves the ground.

For this sketch I focused on a more specific moment. When you decide to stop running and you take that first step to push against all of the forward momentum that has built up.

For this sketch I took the noun 'adventure' but I was also thinking of words like exploration, discovery and curiosity.
