Here are some in-progress shots of my illustrator file, I worked with a mixture of sections that I brought in from 3DS Max and splines that followed the render of my Hero model.
Here are my lasercut pieces.
I laid my pieces on top of one another to see how the etching lined up and I'm very happy with it.
