SUDDEN INSPIRATION

Two words: Mission. Impossible.

I was thinking about how to make my app not only easy to follow but also fun, at the interim presentation I mentioned that I was considering adding a time-trial mode where you have to get from one checkpoint to the next in a certain time.
Thinking about this further lead me to an idea for my aesthetic: super-secret agents! I would call my app Mission V.I.C. (Victoria Interface Control)

Instead of "You have reached your destination" it would say things like "Mission Complete".

This makes the app more fun but I also think it would make the commute to Kelburn more fun if you pretend you’re on a top secret mission following instructions from HQ.

I’ve considered the other features I could add and I’d probably stylise them like this as well.

I have done some sketches that I will upload soon.

After much deliberation I decided against adding a ‘this message will self-destruct’ function for the sake of people who don’t want to buy a new cell phone every time they go up to Kelburn.
