Interim Presentation

Yesterday we had our interim presentation. Craig critiqued our projects. It was helpful because often when you're working on something it's hard to take a step back and look at it as if you have never seen it before.

He said that mine needed extension because while interesting it wasn't really a unique experience.
I totally get what he's saying now. Yesterday after the hand in I thought about ways I could alter my project to make it more unique.

My idea was basically, there are four bottles that have different coloured liquid inside them and different smells. Taste each and put them in order of which one you liked most...and that's it.

It is quite boring now that I think about it.

So my idea for improving it is this:
There are four bottles all with the same coloured liquid in them and a number from 1-4 on the cap.
You get a booklet that says:
"Taste number 3, it's sweet." but number 3 is really lemon juice.
"Now taste number 1, trust me." and number 1 will have something nice in it.
"Now taste number 2, watch out it's bitter." and it will have grapefruit juice in it
"You're almost there, just try number 4 now" and it will have something fizzy in it
the last page of the instruction booklet will say
"Now is your chance to mix up the caps. You can choose the type of experience the person after you has."

I'll probably end up changing the wording of the instructions. But overall I like this idea more. I think the experience is much more unique and the instructions give the user the impression that they aren't in control. And at the end they find out that the person before them was responsible for the unplesant/ plesant experience they just had.
