My interactive object explores the relationship between taste and colour. I started my investigation using the same liquids with different colours. I observed that people often preferred one over the other. Colour has a great influence on our assumptions about taste, this is why I have made my test flavours black. I hope to make the user really consider how they perceive taste
and possibly question the appearance of other tastes they experience. By the end of this experiment I will have a visual representation of each flavour.
Instruction
The numbered bottles each correspond to a numbered section on the board. Taste each flavour by spraying the liquid in the bottle into your mouth. Then choose the coloured sticker that you think best represents that flavour. Put the sticker onto the section for that bottle. Repeat for the other two bottles.
If you are interested in the ingredients they are written on the back of the board at the base.
